OUR MISSION

Jasmine Healthcare was founded by Chris Clark after he gained first-hand experience of care homes through personal family experience, where he had found the standards of accommodation and care offered to be poor. As a result, Chris passionately believes that many care homes for the elderly in England need to be improved. Consequently, Jasmine’s mission is:

By prioritising our people, our mission is to provide the highest standards of care, to as many elderly residents as possible

OUR HOMES

Our homes are all original period properties with character, at the heart of the local communities which they serve. We endeavour to retain as many of the original features as we can, whilst sympathetically extending, modernising and refurbishing the buildings, to enhance the standard of living for all our residents.

This helps us to achieve, what we believe is the optimum size for a care home (40-50 residents), in terms of balancing the culture and community offered by them, with the facilities they offer. We also ensure that all of our homes, offer attractive private grounds, for the use of our residents and their visitors.

OUR AIMS

The specific aims of our mission are as follows:

For all our homes to have a team turnover rate of less than 30% per year
For over 60% of all our team to have a Diploma in Care Qualification
For all our homes to be rated Good or Outstanding by CQC and all other Regulatory bodies
For all our homes to have a Jasmine Compliance Score of over 80% at all times
For all our homes to have a www.carehomes.co.uk Rating of over 9.5 out of 10
For all our homes to be over 95% occupied, so that as many residents as possible can enjoy our high standards of care

“My mother needed a short-term placement following a spell in hospital after having a fall at home. We were recommended to come and see Orchard Court. My mother and I were a little apprehensive given the bad press that is so regularly posted online and within the media, however, this Care Home exceeded expectations 100%. With having no information about care homes, the home manager was so welcoming, understanding and knowledgeable about her home, the staff and how they would ensure my mother would be happy, comfortable and safe.

Within a short time and having had a look around, the manager put my mind at ease and reassured us. Mum had such a good time, loved the food (which while in hospital she didn't have a good appetite) and couldn't praise the staff enough. I am so grateful to the home and if we needed this again, I would make sure Orchard Court were contacted first. What a fabulous example to put minds at rest that there are such fantastic places available for our loved ones.”

``I would like to congratulate Avenue House Nursing Home for the excellent care given to Mum. It was very heart-warming to see the compassion shown to her during the years spent at the home, her room was always clean and fresh and she was always dressed and clean even during her last few months. Her room had an excellent view of the lovely garden. The staff were always kind and friendly and made the family welcome during visits.``

“My nanna went to Orchard Court following an operation for a period of respite.
All the staff were fantastic from the cleaners, cooks, carers, senior carers and management, nothing was too much trouble. My nanna said it was like a homely hotel. The home cooked food was lovely and there was so much choice.
The activities were varied and something for all, residents and families encouraged to join in and be part of it all.
The staff are caring, funny and make everyone feel at home.
The home is clean and tidy and smells lovely.
They all did a great job at looking after my nana. When she left she was upset to be going. Orchard Court made a difficult time a lot easier for us all.”

“My nan has been in Orchard Court Care Home since December 2016. She is incredibly well looked after and the staff do a wonderful job (even when my nan is being stubborn or mischievous!). I am continuously amazed at the range, variety and number of events and activities that the home arrange for the residents and visitors. As I only get to visit every couple of months it is brilliant to look at the photo album to see what my nan has been up to. The home is full of laughter, which is so important. The staff take a lot of time to get to know all the residents and treat them all as individuals with the respect and dignity they deserve. I am also hugely grateful for the peace of mind this has given my mum who found the process of my nan going into a home very difficult, after caring for her for over 10 years. I can't thank the staff enough for all they do.”

South Moor Lodge

``My wife was admitted to St Andrew's Nursing & Care Home in April 2018 with early onset dementia. Since then she has been very well looked after by all the staff, who have provided her with the care and attention she has required. A very pleasant nursing home, the staff are always pleasant and welcoming when we visit her and she feels “at home” in these surroundings.

The home is maintained to a very high standard, clean and a pleasure to visit. Recently (2018) a patio area with a secure gate was opened so residents could sit outside if they wished to, which was a nice addition to the home. Our dogs are regular visitors and the residents really enjoy their visits. Overall a very nice welcoming nursing home.``
