We are absolutely passionate about providing the highest standards of care, and this is our paramount Jasmine Value.

The first priority of everyone at Jasmine is to ensure that high standards of care are always provided, and that improvements in our care, services and facilities are continually sought and implemented.

Care Quality Commission (CQC)

Our homes are registered and approved by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the body empowered by the Government to regulate care homes. The CQC inspect our homes regularly to ensure that high standards of care are maintained and the reports they publish can be viewed on their independent website www.cqc.org.uk. We are extremely proud that of our six homes, four are rated “Good”, one is rated “Outstanding” by the CQC and we currently have one home that is rated as “requires improvement” .  Our Aim is ultimately to have all six of our homes rated as Outstanding by the CQC. We believe this will be achieved by exemplifying our Values at all times, continually training our team, and consistently implementing our robust approach to Compliance.

Jasmine Compliance Scores (JCS)

Although we place great importance on achieving high ratings when we are assessed by the CQC, we are conscious that the CQC typically only inspect Good or Outstanding homes, like ours, approximately once every one to two years. Consequently we operate our own rigorous ongoing quality assurance programme to ensure that the high standards of care, which our residents deserve, are provided 365 days of the year, day and night.

Our dedicated Compliance Support Manager produces our own proprietary Jasmine Compliance Reports (JCR) for all our homes every month. These reports incorporate the results of all our ongoing audits, quality assurance surveys, and other objective measures of the quality of the care we provide. These reports also provide our homes with an objective Jasmine Compliance Score (JCS) each month, allowing us to compare the outcomes at each of our homes over time, and across our homes at any one time.

All our care home teams take great pride in achieving high Jasmine Compliance Scores every month and our Aim is that all of our homes achieve a score of at least 80% every month. Our Care Support Manager immediately starts providing additional support to any home that is not achieving this minimum expected standard, as we believe that any care home group should be judged on the consistency of the quality of its care across all its homes.

We also place a lot of emphasis on the ratings our homes have on the www.carehome.co.uk website. This is the leading independent review website for care homes, and we believe it is well deserving of being so, given how thoroughly it verifies all the reviews it publishes. Our Aim is for all of our homes to have at least a rating of 9.0 out of 10.0 on www.carehome.co.uk
