Management

As well as each of our care homes having their own dedicated Care Home Manager and at least one Deputy Manager, our care homes are also closely supported by a committed central management team. The key individuals of this team are as follows:

Chris Clark – Managing Director

Chris founded the company and is passionate about the worthwhile impact Jasmine's care homes have on the lives of our residents and staff. Chris oversees all aspects of the running of the company on a day to day basis and drives the values, strategy and growth of the business. Chris is also the 'Responsible Individual' registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Chris previously worked for Hermes private equity, where on behalf of his clients he came close to making a number of large acquisitions in the elderly care sector. It was this work experience, alongside Chris' personal experience of elderly care homes due to two of his close relatives living in them, which led Chris into this rewarding industry. Before working at Hermes, Chris worked at PwC, initially as a chartered accountant, and later in their corporate finance practice.

Martyn Heginbotham – Care & Operations Director

Martyn's role is to lead and support our care home managers to strive towards ensuring that all the individuals within our care receive the best possible care and support possible to enable them to lead meaningful and fulfilled lives. Martyn is also passionate about ensuring that our residents are cared for and supported by a motivated, engaged and well trained staff team. By ensuring these things, Martyn believes that all of Jasmine's homes should always be rated as either Good or Outstanding with the Care Quality Commission. Martyn also works closely with Chris to instil the Jasmine Values and ensure the company's growth strategy is implemented in a safe manner.

Martyn joined Jasmine Healthcare in May 2017 keen to be able to have a meaningful impact on a smaller care home operator, having previously worked for a number of larger operators, including Barchester, the Priory and Cambian. Martyn has held both senior operational and quality/strategic roles in Older Peoples Services and Specialist Services (Learning Disabilities, Mental Health and Autism) whilst working in the Health and Social Care Sector for over 17 years.

Steven Dexter – Compliance Support Manager

Steven's role is to continually drive high standards of care and compliance across the company by regularly performing audits at all our homes. Our nine bespoke audits cover every aspect of the running a care home and are completed at least quarterly at every home. Steven also develops the action plans to implement the required improvements identified by his audits. He is then responsible for signing these action plans off, but only when he is totally satisfied that the home managers and their teams have thoroughly completed them. Steven also tracks any complaints and safeguardings through to their full resolution and produces our homes' detailed monthly Jasmine Compliance Reports, against which our homes and managers are closely monitored.

Steven is passionate about the importance of his role in continually driving better standards of care at all our homes. Steven's independence from the management of the homes, due to reporting directly to the managing director, is crucial to this. Steven has worked for Jasmine since June 2011 in various management roles. Before joining Jasmine he gained 13 years experience working his way up in the elderly care industry from carer to deputy manager.

Roz Martin – Office Manager

Roz ensures the smooth running of all the support functions to the homes based at head office, these include: accounts, human resources, recruitment, IT and maintenance. Roz is passionate about ensuring that our homes, our managers and our staff teams, have everything they need to provide the best possible care and accommodation to our residents at all times.

Roz joined Jasmine Healthcare in 2007 after raising her family and since then has become a crucial member of the Jasmine team. Roz is supported by a team of three other dedicated professionals.
