OUR TEAM

Our Home Management

Each of our homes has a dedicated Home Manager who is on call 24 hours a day with the primary responsibility for maintaining Jasmine’s high standards of care at all times. Our Home Managers are typically supported by two Deputy Managers in order to ensure that there is a member of the management team in all of our homes every day of the week. We believe this is important for the well-being of our residents and the peace of mind of their relatives.

Our Home Managers are assisted by qualified and experienced care teams, including specialist nurses. Our care home teams are dedicated to carrying out their duties 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and are committed to making a meaningful difference to the lives of the residents who live in our homes.

Our Jasmine Support Team

Our Home Managers and their teams are supported by our Jasmine Support Team. The key individuals of this team are as follows:

Chris Clark – Managing Support Director

Chris founded the company and is passionate about the worthwhile impact Jasmine’s care homes have on the lives of our residents and staff. Chris oversees all aspects of the running of the company on a day to day basis and sets the mission, aims, values and strategy of the business. Chris is also the ‘Responsible Individual’ registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Chris previously worked for Hermes private equity, where on behalf of his clients he came close to making a number of large acquisitions in the elderly care sector. It was this work experience, alongside Chris’ personal experience of elderly care homes whilst two of his close relatives lived in them, which led Chris into this rewarding vocation. Before working at Hermes, Chris worked at PwC, initially as a chartered accountant, and later in their corporate finance practice.

Roz Martin – Executive & Acquisitions Support

Roz is responsible for the organisation and management of the Jasmine Support Team’s meeting schedules and the diary management of the Managing Support Director.  Roz both coordinates and is the initial interviewer for senior recruitment; working with Home Managers, the Jasmine Support Team and external agencies to ensure the best candidates are attracted and recruited. Roz also works closely with the Managing Support Director on the acquisition and integration of new homes ensuring all Jasmine values and policies are adopted and implemented as swiftly as possible.  Roz is passionate about ensuring that our homes, our managers and our teams, have everything they need to provide the best possible care and accommodation to our residents at all times.

Roz joined Jasmine Healthcare in 2007 after raising her family, and since then has become a crucial member of the Jasmine team.

Becci Townsend – Finance & Commercial Support Manager

Becci is responsible for the finance, payroll, IT and maintenance functions at the Hub and is supported by a team of four. After spending the majority of her career in accountancy practice as a Chartered Accountant, she joined Jasmine as she is passionate about helping the homes have all the resources they need to provide the highest standards of care to the residents in a homely environment.

Catherine Egley – Senior Support Manager

Catherine is the Senior Support Manager for Jasmine Healthcare; she joined Jasmine in March 2022 on a development plan which saw her joining Jasmine as a Home Manager at Nightingale Nursing and Care Home. Catherine supported, mentored and developed Deputy Managers to Registered Managers at both Nightingale and St Andrews. Catherine now Line Support Manages three of our homes; St Andrews, Oxendon House and Nightingale. Catherine takes pride in leading by example and shares her knowledge and skills with others. Catherine is a registered Nurse and has a range of experience in care homes and in the community as a District Nurse so brings lots of clinical knowledge as well as care home knowledge to Jasmine Healthcare.

Luke Ward – Compliance Support Manager

Luke’s role is to continually drive high standards of care and compliance across the company by regularly performing audits at all our homes. Our nine bespoke audits cover every aspect of the running a care home and are completed at least quarterly at every home.  Luke also produces the action plans to implement the required improvements identified by his audits. He is then responsible for signing these action plans off, but only when totally satisfied that the home managers and their teams have thoroughly completed them.  Luke also tracks any complaints and safeguarding issues through to their full resolution, and produces our homes’ detailed monthly Jasmine Compliance Reports and Scores, which are used to closely monitor our homes.

Steven Dexter – People and Compliance Support Coordinator

As People and Compliance Support Coordinator Steven’s focus is on Team Engagement, Development and Training.  As part of Jasmine’s New Starter Programme, Steven works closely with each New Starter, their respective New Starter Champion and Home Manager to ensure each new member feels settled, happy and content in their new role and as a valued member of the team.  Steven is also responsible for ensuring all team members’ mandatory training is current and up to date whilst supporting team members with their personal training and development.  In addition to this he provides support and advice to the homes to help them to achieve and maintain their best Jasmine Compliance Score and be ready for CQC and Local Authority Inspections.

Steven is passionate about the importance of his role in both improving standards of care and making our homes as fun and rewarding to live and work at as possible. Steven has worked for Jasmine since June 2011 in various supporting management roles. Before joining Jasmine he gained 13 years of experience working his way up in the elderly care industry from carer to deputy manager.

Ian Miller -Refurbishment and Maintenance Manager

Having worked for Jasmine Healthcare for over 15 years, Ian’s knowledge of the homes is second to none!
